Description
KSD301-M series thermostat is a type of waterproof thermostat, it
has more waterproof component than the other KSD301 series
products, the protection class of main body is up to IP54, it is
suitable for working in the wet conditions of appliances.
KSD301-M series thermostat is a bimetal snap action thermostat with
accurate trip temperature and long service life. There are
various wiring and installation methods.
Working Principle
The current passes through the moving contact terminal, and then
the static contact terminal is connected to the electrical
appliance (such as battery, etc.) to form a loop; when the
electrical appliance does not work properly and the ambient
temperature
is too high, the heat is transmitted to the bimetal through the
temperature-sensing steel cover to achieve correction. When the
temperature is tripped, the bimetal flips over to quickly
disconnect and cut off the circuit. When the temperature drops to
the
reset temperature, the bimetal resets and quickly closes the
electrical contact to connect the circuit, continuing the cycle.
